Hey everyone ! It’s a very chilly Sunday and as I am sitting here with some crazy man as he intensely watches his Eagles game lol, I decided to write another post! If you know me you know I surprisingly have an obsession with tattoos. When I was younger I was terrified of everything so the fact that I love getting tattoos is a bit strange. So far I only have 3 but sure enough I’m determined to get more! I felt like sharing the ones I do have because I’m in love with each and every one of them.
My first tattoo is located on my left shoulder, the meaning behind it is that it stands for the date in which I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes which happens to be 4/20/98. I was 18 when I got my first one and I’ve always said if I’m going to permanently mark my body I will mark it with things that are meaningful. Yes I always speak about my illness and yes I’m sure it’s annoying for others to hear all the time but for me it’s made me who I am today and in a strange way I’m grateful
My second tattoo just so happened to be spur of the moment but it was something special I got to share with my cousin Mary. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan as is she so we thought why not get matching. This was my first one on my arm and let me tell you I wanted to scream! The pain was so much more than what I was excepting but I surivived clearly. I’m so obsessed with any and everything Harry Potter and this tattoo was long over due!
Lastly my third tattoo which to me has a lot of meaning as well. This one I got matching with my best friend and my sister Tori. At the time my friend had been going through one of the worst times of her life and we decided to get this tattoo to try and cheer her up but also let her know we are always there. This one is located on my right side of my rib cage. I surpringsly fell asleep at this point I’m use to tattoos so this was a piece of cake.
I can’t wait to get more I have so many ideas in my head and in my phone already! My fellow tattoo lovers please share your tattoo ideas or any cool ones you have ! Enjoy the rest of this lazy Sunday – xoxo Marissa
